The training courses offered below are only a partial listing. Please contact us if you desire other courses or one on one personal training. The Level 1 Handgun course provides you with the firearms training necessary for your state's (Florida's) concealed weapons permit requirements. The Level 1 courses are your first step in becoming a responsible and confident firearms owner. We also provide law enforcement training to certified peace officers (must have proof of certification upon registration), as well as Military personnel desiring outside training in any specialty.

NRA First Steps Pistol is an 8 hour 1 Day course designed for the beginner pistol shooter. During the course, students will be introduced to different firearms types, the cycle of operation, pistol safety, parts and nomenclature, and the basic fundamentals of shooting. After lunch, students will fire a prescribed course of fire consisting of 50 rounds to acclimate them to their respective handgun. This course will meet the requirements for the State of Floirida's Concealed Weapons Permit upon successful completion and award of certificate.
Level 1 Courses are designed to introduce the Beginner and Novice handgun/rifle owner to the basics of how to use their firearms in a safe, yet efficient manner. The courses will cover the topics of nomenclature, principles of marksmanship, firearms safety, escalation of force, safe handling and storage of firearms, and many more topics. The Level 1 Handgun Course will meet all the requirements for your Concealed Weapons Permit (Handgun). In addition, attendees will also receive an NRA Certification in the Basic Pistol Discipline. Each Basic course can be broken down into approximately 70% classroom instruction and 30% range time. During the range time, attendees will be exposed to their first lessons in defensive shooting techniques including drawing from concealment, issuing verbal commands, and engaging targets within their personal space. The maximum number of students for any of the Level 1 courses is limited to ten (10) so as to provide you with the personal training you desire, and also for safety of those attending the course. However, there is NO minimum number of students that are required for us to schedule a course.
Level 2 Courses are designed to introduce the novice and experienced gun owner to a more realistic course of defensive weapons handling. Here we will improve on weapons safety and handling, multiple targets, unknown distance shooting, normal and tactical reloading, clearing malfunctions, responding to a threat in your home, and the use of cover and concealment. The introduction of tactical principles of weapons usage will be the building block for further advanced training. In addition, Level 2 Handgun courses will include the NRA Certification for Personal Protection in the Home. During any of the Level 2 courses, you will apply the tactics taught in simulated scenarios using realistic Airsoft weapons prior to actual live fire exercises. During the live fire portion, students will apply these tactics to real life targets. The breakdown of this course is approximately 20% classroom instruction and 80% range time. Classes are limited to eight (8) students per schedule course, however, there is NO minimum number of students required to conduct these courses.
Level 3 Courses are designed to introduce the experienced and proficient gun owner to a range of real world targets and threats, covering distance, moving targets (single and multiple), tactical reloading, overcoming injury, shooting and reloading on the move, engaging targets from a vehicle and inside of a vehicle, overcoming obstacles, firing from different positions, and action/reaction drills. Attendees who complete this level of Handgun training will also receive an NRA Certification in the Personal Protection Outside the Home discipline. The breakdown of this course is approximately 10% classroom instruction and 90% range time. Classes for the advanced courses are limited to six(6) students per scheduled course. However, there is NO minimum number required to conduct these courses.
Precision Marksman Courses are designed to provide the student with the knowledge, skills, and fundamentals of Precision Marksmanship. These skills will address engaging targets out to various long ranges, some up to 1,000 yards when applicable. Topics include observation, target identification, field craft, camoflauge and concealment, range estimation, and other factors that effect shot placement. Students will also be issued a "Range Book" to use for documentation and future use. Due to the complexity of this course, it is recommended that the student have prior experience with rifle firing and class size is limited to 4 (four) students. This course is only available upon request. Students must provide their personal rifle with optics, binoculars, spotting scope, and other necessary equipment for use in the field.
