Training Schedule and Fees
Schedule of Fees:

NRA First Steps Pistol course is $100.  This fee includes all training materials, targets, range fees and a Certificate of Training.  This course meets the requirements to obtain your Florida Concealed Weapons Permit.  This course is a 1 day 8 hour training course designed for those who desire to only obtain the concealed weapons permit and do not wish to obtain the defensive training presented in our other courses.  Students will need a handgun and 50 rounds to qualify on a prescribed course of fire.

Level 1 Handgun
course is $195.  This fee includes all training materials, targets, range fees, and a Certificate of Training meeting the requirements for your Concealed Weapons Permit.  In addition, students who successfully complete this course will receive an NRA Certification in the Basic Pistol discipline.  For those needing or desiring their Concealed Weapons Permit, we  provide everything you need, including your State application.  This course is usually 12-14 hours in length.  We recommend that you bring your own firearm so that you become proficient in its use, gun cleaning supplies, eye and ear protection, and you will need 100 rounds of ammunition
Range ammunition is suitable for this course.  If you need eye protection or ear protection, we offer these for sale or loan on an as needed basis.

Level 1 Rifle/Carbine course is $195.  This fee includes all training materials, targets, range fees, and a Certificate of Training.  This course is usually 14-16 hours in length.  We recommend that you bring your own firearm equipped with a sling, cleaning supplies, eye and ear protection, handgun with holster, and appropriate magazines for your rifle and handgun.  You will need 150 rounds of rifle ammunition and 50 rounds of handgun ammunition.

Level 1 Shotgun Course is $195.  This fee includes all training materials, targets, range fees, and a Certificate of Training.  This course is usually 8-12 hours in length.  We recommend that you bring your own pump or automatic shotgun that is designed for personal defense (No 28-30 inch barrels), handgun with holster, cleaning supplies, and eye and ear protection.   You will also need 75 rounds of appropriate ammunition.  This should include 60 rounds of 4-6 shot and 15 rounds of defensive or tactical buckshot.  Shotguns should be within the 12, 16, or 20 gauge variants.  However, if you choose to use a .410 shotgun, please make prior arrangements with our staff.  In addition, you will need 50 rounds of handgun ammunition. 

Level 2/3 Novice/Advanced Rifle/Carbine and Shotgun course is $315 for the Novice/Advanced course.  This fee includes all of the above as well as moving targets and is usually 18-24 hours in length.  In both courses, you are encouraged to bring your own long gun and also your personal handgun.  For the Rifle/Carbine course you will need 300 rounds of rifle ammunition and 100 rounds of handgun ammunition.  The Shotgun course requires that you bring 150 rounds of Shotgun ammunition and 100 rounds of handgun ammunition.  Shotgun ammunition should consist of 100 rounds 4-6 shot, 25 rounds of Tactical Buckshot, and 25 rounds of Tactical slugs.  You should also consider bringing any other items or equipment you will need for 2 days at the range.  To attend the advanced course, you must have previously completed at least the Basic course that was taught through us.  You will be given a firearms proficiency test prior to attending the course.  This will be done on the first day of training as a matter of added safety.

Level 2 Handgun Course is $250.  This fee includes all of the above in addition to the use of our Airsoft weapons and ammo for you to practice the tactics taught prior to live fire.  In addition, students who successfully complete this training will receive an NRA Certification in the Personal Protection Inside the Home discipline.  This course is usually 14-16 hours in length and we recommend you bring you personal handgun and accessories (holster/carrying device, magazines and holder, etc) to this training.  You will need a minimum of 150 rounds of ammunition for your particular handgun.  In addition, you will need 20 rounds of the type you intend to carry and use for your protection, such as Hollow points from Speer, Hornady, Winchester, Federal, etc.  

Level 3 Handgun Course is $350.  This fee includes all of the above as well as the access to moving targets, and vehicle access.  This training is intense and provides you with real world situations that you may face in your everyday travels.   In addition, students who successfully complete this training will receive an NRA Certification in the Personal Protection Outside the Home discipline.  Each student attending this course will need their personal handgun, holster and magazine holder, minimum of 3 magazines, and a minimum of 300 rounds of appropriate ammunition, 50 of which should include the type you intend to carry in your firearm as well as any other items or equipment needed for 2 full days at the range and live fire shooting house if applicable.  

Precison Marksman Course is a 3 day course offering the student the opportunity and knowledge to engage targets at long range.  Please refer to the course description for further information.  The fee for the course is $600 and includes all targets, range fees, training materials, range book, 
materials needed for construction of a "Ghillie" suit and much more.  If interested, please contact us for scheduling.

Basic Self Defense-   $65 per session per student (2 hours)

Defense against Edged Weapons-  $65 per session per student (2 hours)

Sexual Assault Prevention-  Free to any female who has completed any firearms training course with us.  Otherwise, a fee of $40 per person is required.  Classes are limited to Female students and children ONLY.  If you have completed a firearms course provided by us, you can also elect to bring your children to the training at no additional cost.

We recommend that when you attend any of this training, you use your personal weapon of choice.  However, if you do not have your own personal weapon we can sometimes make arrangements for you when we begin class.  

Please inquire about ammunition quantity discounts.  We understand the burden the economy has placed on all of us, so in most cases, we can obtain a discount from the manufacturer for the purchase of larger quantities of ammunition of a particular caliber.
